My biggest blessing in life is most definitely my wife, Niki. I am so blessed by her presence in my life. God certainly knew what He was doing when He sent her my way.
For those that don’t know we recently bought our first house- today marks about a week since we moved in and had at least a somewhat organized house.
This week has been full of getting various tasks done around the house, while both of us have been busy with work and the crazy schedules that creates.
My wife still chooses to come home from work, cook dinner and do laundry and all the other tasks we have to accomplish around our new home.
I am more than blessed that she takes the time out of her crazy schedule to make sure I am ok and have everything I need each and every night. I never realized how much having just that quick moment with her makes my day so much better.
In a few days we will have been married for four months. Man – crazy how much we have accomplished and done in the past four months. In four months, we have gotten married, spent a couple weeks in Hawaii, moved me into her apartment and organized all of our stuff, spent a week in Chicago, bought a house, moved to that house and now back in full hectic pace of work. In all of the craziness, I am glad she has been by my side.
Today, as I sit and ponder the blessing of my life, I cannot help but be abundantly grateful for the love of my wife. She is beautiful and a tremendous strength in my life.
